    SES4U Gr. 12 Earth & Space Science

    By taking this course, you will gain a better understanding of Earth on two levels: its infinitesimal role in the universe and its importance to life as we know it.  Big ideas covered include Astronomy, Planetary Science, Earth's Geological History, Earth materials, and Geological Processes.  Although the only prerequisite is Academic 10 Science (SNC2D), students should have a working knowledge or willingness to pick up basic math (scientific calculator skills), atomic chemistry, physics (time, speed, light) and a very big imagination. 

    MPM2D3 Gr. 10 Academic Math (SMR)

    By choosing to take the enriched version of MPM2D3, you must be motivated to learn and enhance the math skills you already learned in previous grades.  The course moves at a brisk pace to allow for enrichment opportunities.  Major topics include Linear Systems, Geometry, Quadratics, and Trigonometry.  If you find you are falling behind, please speak with your teacher, guidance counselor and guardians to discuss your options!
